Family Law Paralegal

📋 Description

• Assist attorneys with divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, paternity, and other family
• Draft pleadings, motions, petitions, notices, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and
• Prepare financial affidavits, mandatory disclosures, asset and liability schedules, and supporting
• Collect, organize, review, and prepare documents for discovery and production
• Review financial records, including bank statements, tax returns, pay records, business records
• Prepare case summaries, chronologies, exhibits, and supporting materials to help attorneys assess

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a paralegal, lawyer, or attorney
• At least 2 years of experience working as a family law paralegal for a law firm in the United States
• Strong hands-on experience supporting U.S. family law matters, including divorce, custody, child
• Demonstrated experience drafting family law pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and legal
• Experience reviewing and organizing financial records, mandatory disclosures, asset schedules, and
• Strong understanding of litigation deadlines, court filing requirements, and family court procedures
