Fiber Service Technician-Mobile

📋 Description

• Travel (in-state and out-of-state) is required and will be frequent as we align our workforce with
• Install fiber based high-speed internet for consumer customers.
• Perform maintenance and repair on outside plant facilities where necessary to facilitate
• Climb poles, use a shovel and pick to dig up and bury cable, work in utility access holes or
• Manage a weekly per diem to support travel expenses.
• Observe all safety rules and regulations.

• Ability to travel
• High School diploma or equivalent experience
• Ability to distinguish colors
• Ability to handle 28-foot extension ladders (up to 75 lbs.) and utility access hole covers (up to
• Ability to complete service tech boot camp training
• Basic computer skills including MS Office applications
