Field Application Scientist, Pathway & NGS Analysis Software, QDI

📋 Description

• Develop expert-level knowledge of bioinformatics and biological interpretation software, including
• Identify customer research objectives and challenges, translating them into tailored software
• Deliver customized scientific demonstrations, presentations, workshops, and case studies that
• Analyze customer-provided or publicly available datasets to develop relevant examples and
• Train and support new customers through onboarding sessions, product tutorials, and scientific
• Act as a scientific advisor and customer advocate, gathering feedback and communicating product

🎯 Requirements

• PhD or equivalent experience in biology, molecular biology, bioinformatics, genetics, or a related
• Expertise or demonstrated experience in gene expression analysis, sequence variant interpretation
• Postdoctoral research experience is an advantage, and previous experience as a Field Application
• Familiarity with bioinformatics software such as Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA), OmicSoft, and
• Knowledge of public biological datasets and repositories, including GEO, TCGA, SRA, and GTEx, is
• Experience with next-generation sequencing workflows, including single-cell RNA sequencing
