Field Safety Engineer, UK

📋 Description

• Serve as Waymo's primary liaison on post-deployment safety with automotive and traffic safety
• Work with Waymo's Field Safety team in the United States to identify and analyze issues that could
• Act as lead for Field Safety issues impacting Waymo's operations in the UK.
• Participate in regular shifts as part of a 24/7 Safety on-call rotation, integral to Waymo's

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical degree.
• 10+ years of engineering or other technical experience in automotive or another transportation
• Experience with the UK's automotive and/or transportation regulatory framework and familiarity with
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with Policy, Legal, Operations, Engineering
• Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to establish and maintain professional
• Ability to work occasionally in evenings to collaborate with the US-based Field Safety team.
