Field Service Engineer

📋 Description

• Install, commission, and maintain TOMRA sorting machines at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electromechanical issues to reduce downtime.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrades, and retrofits.
• Train customers on daily machine operation and best practices.
• Document service activities and provide feedback to internal teams for improvement.
• Collaborate with service, engineering, and sales to ensure quality customer experience.

🎯 Requirements

• Mechanical education or proven practical experience in a mechanical field service role.
• Minimum 5 years in field service engineering.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems (pneumatics, hydraulics, rotating equipment).
• Solid understanding of electrical systems and controls (desirable).
• Independent, solution-oriented with strong customer focus.
• Willing to travel abroad for at least 80% of time in EMEA.
