Field Service Engineer

📋 Description

• Install, commission, and maintain TOMRA sorting machines at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electromechanical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrades, and retrofits.
• Support customers with training and best practices for daily machine operation.
• Document service activities and provide clear feedback for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with service, engineering, and sales to deliver quality customer experiences.

🎯 Requirements

• Mechanical education or proven practical field service experience
• Minimum 5 years of field service engineer experience
• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems (pneumatics, hydraulics)
• Electrical systems and controls knowledge desirable
• Comfortable in industrial environments and on-site work
• Independent, solution-oriented mindset
• Strong communication and a customer-first mindset
• Good command of English; other languages a plus
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Willing to travel up to 80% in EMEA; weekends/holidays possible
