Field Service Engineer

📋 Description

• Install, commission, and maintain TOMRA sorting machines at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electromechanical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrades, and retrofits.
• Support customers with training and best practices for daily machine operation.
• Document service activities and provide clear feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues across service, engineering, and sales to deliver a high-quality

🎯 Requirements

• Mechanical education (Requires secondary education diploma, preferably a subject-specific diploma)
• EFK (Elektrofachkraft) together with AuS (Arbeiten unter Spannung) qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Field Service Engineer
• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems (pneumatics, hydraulics, rotating equipment).
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and controls preferred.
• Fluent in English and German; additional languages are an advantage.
