Field Service Engineer (Automotive)

📋 Description

• Oversee customer deployments; monitor installation milestones with partners.
• Serve as the main contact for escalations during install phases.
• Monitor CSAT related to installations and address root causes.
• Lead onsite training and craft project-specific installation guides.
• Coordinate with vendors to complete work on time, on budget, to Samsara standards.
• Ensure safety standards, site readiness, and SOW alignment.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma required; advanced degree preferred.
• 4+ years in vehicle/hardware tech; installation experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and be insurable; travel 50-70%, weekends.
• CAN bus, PTO, vehicle diagnostics; basic electronics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; ability to manage multiple projects.
