Finance Lead (8-month maternity cover)

📋 Description

• Lead FP&A with monthly close, reforecast, board packs, exec reviews.
• Own CEO/board reporting and strategic finance projects.
• Oversee the 2027 audit; lead the finance team (advising, not month-end).
• Hands-on across finance; not a caretaker role.
• Reports to CEO; direct reports are Financial Controller and Finance Ops Associate.
• Start 2 Nov 2026; 8-month contract.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven FP&A leadership with monthly close and forecasting.
• Strong board/investor reporting and strategic finance skills.
• Lead a small finance team; hands-on with month-end.
• Accounting-literate; can challenge a controller when needed.
• Partner with CEO, board, and executive team.
• UK-based with right to work.
