Finance Officer

📋 Description

• Process invoices and issue supplier payments; maintain supplier files.
• Ensure invoices/expenses are authorised and coded; monitor the Finance inbox.
• Assist with month-end/year-end close; conduct supplier reconciliations.
• Process PayPal payments and donations; manage accounts (Dart Charge, Merseyside).
• Travel arrangements and petty cash transactions; payments authorised.
• Van insurance audits; maintain insurance documents; support compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 GCSEs including English & Maths; strong communication.
• Previous experience in a financial role essential.
• Highly organised; able to meet fixed deadlines.
• Independent worker with initiative and responsibility.
• Proven accuracy with attention to detail.
• Desirable: small team experience; IT skills; database mgmt; data protection.
