Finance Specialist

📋 Description

• Maintain accurate books of accounts for the US entity in accordance with US GAAP, including
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, foreign
• Assist with consolidated financial reporting for US and India entities, including intercompany
• Manage accounts payable activities, including invoice validation, approval routing, vendor
• Support US payroll and Employer of Record processing while maintaining working knowledge of India
• Review and process employee expense reimbursements in accordance with established policies.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CA, CA Inter, or an MBA in
• 5+ years of accounting and finance experience, including at least 1 year of hands-on US accounting
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, particularly for financial close, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Working knowledge of Indian accounting practices and statutory compliance, including GST, TDS, PF
• Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP platforms such as QuickBooks or Xero.
• Familiarity with expense-management platforms such as Ramp and payroll systems such as Rippling
