Financial Accountant

📋 Description

• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of general ledger and sub-ledger accounts through account
• Prepare financial analyses, account reconciliations, accruals, prepaid expenses, and recurring or
• Review financial statements, cash flow, fund balances, and budget results for designated ministry
• Manage banking activities, including daily bank reconciliations and the timely processing of
• Verify that financial transactions are properly authorized, supported by appropriate documentation
• Coordinate accounting transactions and contribute to timely month-end and year-end closing

🎯 Requirements

• A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least two years of professional experience in an accounting or finance environment.
• Demonstrated experience with general accounting, financial analysis, account reconciliations
• A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, or progress toward completing the
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, INDIRECT, TRIM, LEFT, RIGHT
