Financial Analyst (Accounts Payable)

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end AP processing for DeepL SE: invoices, coding, posting, approvals.
• Analyse AP ageing, spend, and approval data to identify trends and issues.
• Leverage AI tools to optimise invoice processing and deliver insights.
• Assist variance analysis on AP accruals and open POs; support cash flow forecasting.
• Explain AP impact on P&L and Balance Sheet via double-entry accounting.
• Reconcile vendor statements and support month-end close activities.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in AP or general accounting analysis.
• Leadership experience managing teams or projects.
• Create financial analyses from transactional data: spend trends, ageing, forecasting.
• Describe trends and recommend actions to stakeholders.
• Hands-on with NetSuite, Workday, Omnea, Databricks; strong Excel modelling.
• Working knowledge of Claude or similar AI tools; quick to adopt new tools.
