Financial Controller

📋 Description

• Own the global financial control environment and integrity across the multi-entity group.
• Manage month-end close, management reporting, and recurring outputs.
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements across entities and jurisdictions.
• Lead end-to-end audit processes with planning, evidence gathering, and stakeholder coordination.
• Develop and mentor a 2-3 person junior finance team.
• Oversee banking, payments, bookkeeping, AP, and core finance controls.

🎯 Requirements

• Fully qualified accounting credential (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with robust technical expertise.
• Proven financial control, technical accounting, close, audit, and statutory reporting experience.
• Extensive experience preparing or reviewing financial statements across multiple entities.
• Leadership in managing, developing, and raising standards in a small finance team.
• Robust project management and change delivery capability, esp. audits or finance transformation.
• Innovative, hands-on automation mindset with Excel automation, workflow tools, AI.
