FinOps Data Analyst

📋 Description

• Collect, process and model cloud, AI and SaaS cost and usage data into trusted, query-ready datasets
• Build and maintain dashboards and visualisations in QuickSight for engineering teams, Finance and
• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to cost anomaly detection, seasonality and trend
• Model unit economics (cost per customer, per placement, per API call, per inference)
• Extend FinOps reporting into AI and ML workloads, tracking token consumption, inference cost, GPU
• Leverage AI tooling and agentic workflows to automate insight generation and narrative reporting

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, information technology, finance
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills with hands-on experience querying large, granular billing
• Proven experience building BI dashboards and visualisations (QuickSight, Looker, Power BI, Tableau
• Proficiency in Python (or R) for data analysis, statistical modelling, automation
• Hands-on experience with cloud cost management tools and data sources (AWS Cost Explorer, CUR, GCP
• Practical experience with forecasting, trend analysis and anomaly detection
