FinOps Engineer

📋 Description

• Manage cloud cost optimization: analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and governance.
• Execute FinOps lifecycle across Inform, Optimize, Operate using cost tools.
• Design cost models, tagging, allocation frameworks, and reporting.
• Analyze cost anomalies, variances, and inefficient resource use.
• Develop showback/chargeback models, dashboards, and verification.
• Build systems to aggregate and analyze cloud billing and usage data.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in CS/Finance/related field; 6+ yrs exp, or Master’s with 3+ yrs.
• Experience managing cloud cost optimization, FinOps, or cloud analytics.
• Strong understanding of FinOps methodologies and cloud cost management.
• Experience with cloud billing analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and resource optimization.
• Ability to build cost allocation models, dashboards, and reports.
• Strong analytical skills translating data into business insights.
