Fire Lab Technician - Part-Time

📋 Description

• Performs fire and flammability testing of consumer products.
• Works under general supervision following SOPs and methods.
• Tests to standards (ASTM, NFPA, CFR, ISO) and customer protocols.
• Develops, writes, reviews, performs and validates test methods and SOPs.
• Sets up, tests, extinguishes, and overhauls multiple fire tests.
• May assist internal teams with test reports and technical information.

🎯 Requirements

• Must be comfortable in a fire testing lab.
• Language skills: Intermediate (Preferred).
• Mathematical skills: Intermediate (Preferred).
• Reasoning abilities: Intermediate (Preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals (Preferred).
• Microsoft Office: Outlook/Excel/Word (Intermediate) (Preferred).
