Fire Protection Designer

📋 Description

• Lead and execute fire protection system design from concept through construction, including system
• Develop detailed, code-compliant fire protection drawings, including shop drawings, specifications
• Review architectural and engineering drawings to ensure life safety and fire code compliance
• Act as the owner’s representative for fire protection systems during design, construction, and
• Conduct site assessments and field surveys to evaluate existing conditions and fire system
• Prepare and review design, shop drawing, and construction submittals for compliance with applicable

🎯 Requirements

• Progressive experience in fire protection system design, consulting, or inspection
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, REVIT, and/or other industry design software
• NICET certification, NICET Level II or higher is strongly desired
• Proficiency with ASPIRE™ software
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA codes, life safety standards, and local jurisdictional requirements
• Experience with mass notification systems and integrated life safety solutions
