Fire Protection Engineer

📋 Description

• Perform professional-level fire protection engineering services such as life safety code
• Develops plans, specifications, and inspection reports as needed on assigned tasks to see that
• Assist in the resolution of design problems that may include performing field investigations or
• Identify applicable codes and standards to reference in evaluating how to respond to inquiries.
• Conduct and document assigned work such as basic building code analyses, egress analyses, fire
• Apply engineering calculations such as size required, means of egress, maximum allowable building

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or higher in Fire Protection, Mechanical, Civil or Architectural
• 3+ years' experience in Fire Protection Engineering
• The ideal candidate will be a "Doer Seller," with client connections and ability to develop new
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with developing building code concepts and equivalencies, conducting building plan
• Familiarity with project management or specific responsibilities for any portion of large complex
