Support design, analysis, calculations and specs for fire and life safety systems
Verify building adherence to current fire codes and system integrity
Develop AM&M to meet code intent with AHJ for performance-based design
Manage commissioning from planning to post-commissioning adjustments
Conduct inspections, audits, and testing to address deficiencies
Coordinate with facilities teams, contractors and authorities on installations and certifications

🎯 Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years in design/construction of fire protection systems or consulting
Working knowledge of Building & Fire Codes and NFPA standards
Degree in fire protection engineering
Professional Engineer license (P.E.) or able to obtain
NICET certification in relevant fire protection programs
