Fire Sprinkler Designer

📋 Description

• Design and layout fire protection sprinkler systems—including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, fire
• Coordinate sprinkler system piping with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical
• Perform hydraulic calculations and convert design dimensions into fabrication-ready measurements.
• Read and interpret construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Apply applicable NFPA standards based on building type, construction type, hazard classification
• Prepare complete design submittal packages and manage correspondence required to obtain design

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of fire protection design experience.
• Proven experience with AutoSprink or HydraCAD and/or Revit.
• NICET Level III–IV certification in Water-Based Systems Layout preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, NFPA 13D, and related standards.
• Experience with BIM coordination and designing fire sprinkler systems across multiple system types
• Strong understanding of NFPA standards and applicable codes (IFC, IBC, NEC).
