Firmware Engineer - Actuation

📋 Description

• Develop actuation and motor control firmware for humanoid robots.
• Collaborate with actuation firmware team on motor control firmware, FOC, current and torque control
• Contribute to system identification, plant modeling, and controller tuning for production actuators.
• Shape HIL/SIL testing strategies to validate actuation performance, safety, and reliability at
• Design fault detection/injection and recovery mechanisms for safety-critical motor control.
• Drive firmware quality, telemetry, diagnostics, and field reliability for fleets of actuators.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; Master’s with
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production-grade embedded software; firmware from concept to
• Proficiency in C/C++; working knowledge of Python, Docker, Git.
• Experience with motor control firmware for BLDC including FOC, current/torque control.
• Hands-on experience with hard real-time embedded firmware in production.
• Experience deploying firmware with telemetry and diagnostics in the field.
