Firmware QA Specialist

📋 Description

• Diagnose firmware, embedded software, and hardware issues via logs and telemetry.
• Analyze connectivity issues using Wireshark.
• Document root causes and create reproducible incident reports.
• Design and execute test plans for hardware, software, and firmware components.
• Validate firmware updates, recovery, storage, and reboot behaviors.
• Verify integrations across cameras, cloud services, mobile apps, and web apps.

🎯 Requirements

• 3 years QA/embedded/IoT testing or technical support for connected devices.
• Proficiency with Jira: triage, workflows, linking, and queries.
• Experience with Buildroot or Yocto on embedded Linux.
• Experience with oscilloscopes/logic analyzers for hardware debugging.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines: Bitbucket, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Experience testing cellular IoT products for outdoor use.
