Fitter / Welder - Day Shift

📋 Description

• Weld stainless and carbon steel using TIG, FCAW, and MIG per specs.
• Fit and weld high-precision assemblies per WPS and drawings.
• Work on engineered-to-order combustion components with tight fit-up.
• Operate independently; maintain equipment and uphold safety standards.
• Schedule: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Mon-Fri; overtime as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years welding experience or specialized training.
• TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless and carbon steel; 6G all-TIG on 1/2" schedule 160 pipe.
• Strong FCAW proficiency; pass 3G plate test in MIG/flux-core.
• Skilled in at least three processes: GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, GTAW, SAW.
• Familiar with weld codes (API, B31.3, UW-51, UW-52, B1.1, STS).
• Pass written fitter test; strong layout/blueprint reading and tolerances.
