Fixed Income Trader - Rates

📋 Description

• Executing a range of Fixed Income Rates orders in line with regulatory standards, internal
• Providing investment teams with market commentary, daily feedback and guidance on traded and open
• Developing trading protocols, including building automated workflows and exploring opportunities to
• Building trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, counterparties and clients
• Partnering with the Trading Research team to analyse, process and interpret trading data to improve
• Expanding your knowledge across other instruments to provide effective cover across the trading desk

🎯 Requirements

• A degree or equivalent practical experience, ideally within finance, economics or another
• Progression towards professional qualifications (IMC, CFA) is advantageous
• Experience within financial markets, asset management or trading, with the capability and ambition
• Knowledge of government bond markets, particularly the UK market, and associated trading platforms
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
