Food Regulatory Advisor

📋 Description

• Provide a high level of professional services to key retail clients.
• Ensure products are safe and legal by providing consultancy for legal and technical compliance
• Prepare and check pack copy based on supplier specifications and client requirements.
• Ensure pack copy complies with current and pending UK and EU legislation and industry guidelines.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, design agencies, print houses and other internal/external parties

🎯 Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Food Science, Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Regulatory Affairs or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of UK and EU food legislation, Codes of Practice and Industry Guidelines.
• Experience in preparing and approving legally compliant pack copy, labels and artwork.
• Experience completing online retailer specifications.
