Foreclosure Legal Specialist

📋 Description

• Prepare and manage foreclosure referral packages, including timeline tracking.
• Oversee the generation and delivery of default-related notices (NOD, NOI, Breach Letters).
• Maintain detailed records of communications between borrowers, attorneys, and Cascade.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure referrals meet investor, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Conduct compliance reviews of foreclosure and bankruptcy documents for filing and notices, identifying risks and supporting action.
• Review exception reports to manage overdue orders and workflow challenges.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of default servicing experience; at least 2 years in foreclosure.
• Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
• Prior FHA mortgage foreclosure experience and/or manufactured home replevin experience.
• Working knowledge of GSE servicing guidelines and investor requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptable to changing business, team, and customer needs.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and follow established procedures.
