Forklift Mechanic

📋 Description

• Inspect forklifts and pallet jacks in charging stations for issues regarding batteries, tires
• Verify performance of warehouse equipment by conducting tests and adjusting controls/systems
• Respond to requests for maintenance and work orders in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot and perform necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on forklifts, pallet jacks
• Replace damaged electrical components, transformers, wiring, tires, bushings, bearings, shafts and
• Perform machine shop duties such as cutting, welding, machining and other metal fabrication

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience servicing electric forklifts (sit down and stand-up reach) and/or pallet
• High School diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• MIG and TIG welding experience (preferred)
• Sit-down and stand-up reach forklift certification (preferred)
• Bilingual-English/Spanish (preferred)
