Forklift Mechanic

📋 Description

• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and provide corrective action.
• Disassemble forklifts prior to maintenance work.
• Reassemble forklifts after repair or maintenance.
• Start forklifts and observe operation to detect problems.
• Inspect or test damaged forklifts and note repair needs.
• Lubricate or apply materials to forklifts per procedures.
• Read work orders and specs to determine repair needs.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to interpret blueprints required.
• Ability to read a tape measure required.
• Certifications or prior experience using forklifts required.
• 2+ years of prior industrial maintenance experience required.
• Hydraulic and electrical background experience required.
• Regular and reliable attendance required.
