Forward Deployed AI Engineer, Portugal

📋 Description

• Deploy ICEYE platform in customer secure environments (on-prem, air-gapped)
• Build and maintain containerized apps (Docker) and deploy in Kubernetes clusters
• Develop APIs and data pipelines connecting ICEYE to customer C4ISR
• Troubleshoot deployment issues in disconnected environments without internet
• Create RAG systems combining SAR data with customer intelligence documents
• Develop AI agents and workflows using LangChain/LangGraph to automate tasks

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years hands-on software engineering delivering production systems
• Strong Python programming (required) plus one of Go, TypeScript, or Rust
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG systems
• Knowledge of agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, pydantic-ai) and vector databases
• Experience with Docker and deploying in secure / isolated / air-gapped environments
• APIs, data pipelines, and production system integration
