Forward Deployed Engineer

📋 Description

• Collaborate with engineering leaders and teams to connect Command to existing work systems.
• Establish technical and operational foundations for adoption; help teams plan, build, ship, and learn.
• Navigate cloud infrastructure, integrations, workflow design, automation, and coaching.
• Work in customer environments configuring access to source-control, CI/CD, tickets, and identity systems.
• Write production-grade code and turn customer solutions into reusable product capabilities.
• Deliver more than deployment; provide a stronger system for building software.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in software or forward deployed, customer, solutions, or implementation engineering.
• Strong coding and systems-thinking skills, able to move from whiteboard to production.
• Strong understanding of product development and engineering workflows; familiar with planning, building, shipping, and debugging.
• Experience building or integrating software across APIs, event flows, data models, permissions, automation, or agent-based workflows.
• Strong technical judgment: know when to customize, simplify, or push for productization.
• Ability to work directly with customers and internal stakeholders without heavy structure.
