Forward Deployed Engineer (AI) - Uruguay

📋 Description

• Design and build robust ETL/ELT pipelines for AI-powered apps.
• Implement end-to-end data pipelines for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Develop data infra and vector stores for AI workloads.
• Write evaluation suites and guardrails for quality, safety, cost, latency.
• Integrate AI components via REST/GraphQL APIs and cloud services.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of software engineering experience, with at least 1 year shipping AI/ML features to production
• Strong Python skills; plus TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, or Java
• Hands-on with modern LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock)
• Experience with dbt, Airflow, Dagster, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks
• Knowledge of RAG, embeddings, and vector stores (pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate)
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP); deploy containers and IAM
