Forward Deployed Engineer, Applied AI

📋 Description

• Work with GP clients (CFOs, COOs, heads of technology, IR leads, fund accountants, IR associates
• Support discovery and translate ambiguous business problems into clear requirements, scope
• Carry components through full lifecycle from prototype and client validation to hardening
• Design and build agentic systems: retrieval and context design, tool/MCP integration
• Collaborate with platform and product engineering teams on core system integration
• Make engineering trade-offs balancing speed, reliability, security, maintainability

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years professional experience shipping production software with AI-enabled applications
• Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into requirements and deliver working software
• Full-stack engineering (data, services, UI, infrastructure)
• Working knowledge of cloud provider, containers, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, monitoring
• Comfort working directly with external clients/customers
• Fluency with AI-assisted development and ability to understand/debug all shipped code
