📋 Description

• Build at the customer site: production-grade agents and data pipelines.
• Work in unfamiliar territory, ramp quickly with new codebases.
• Own the technical deliverable: design, build, and hand off.
• Be the Redpanda technical voice with customer engineers.
• Drive toward exit: document, train, and hand off; no dependencies.
• Travel 30–50% during active engagements.

🎯 Requirements

• Engineering depth: production software, data pipelines, APIs, or agent systems.
• Agent and integration experience: built agents and integrations; familiarity with LLM APIs.
• Ability to operate in any environment: read unfamiliar code and extend it without breaking.
• Customer-facing communication: work directly with the customer’s engineers as a trusted partner.
• Shipped at a customer site or deployment context: produced live deployments.
• Bonus: forward-deployed or customer-embedded engineering model experience (e.g., FDE).
• Bonus: streaming/real-time data systems experience (Kafka, Flink, Redpanda).
• Bonus: experience in regulated industries or air-gapped environments.
• Bonus: led end-to-end customer engagements without a playbook.
