Forward Deployed Engineer, Data Systems

📋 Description

• Own onboarding end-to-end, from first POC to production; quick impact for marketing teams.
• Steer data engineers to standardize models; map integrations; ensure data quality.
• Expand 1st- to 3rd-party data connectivity; build pipelines for attribution and personalization.
• Systemize custom workflows into repeatable pipelines within our orchestration framework.
• Sell the value and ROI; run discovery with CMOs/RevOps; drive land-and-expand in strategic accounts.
• Be the last line of technical defense; debug prod integrations; monitor data freshness and match rate.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2 years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or data science; own end-to-end data path.
• Customer-facing with commercial instinct; can ROI-case and grow accounts.
• SQL fluency; DE principles; experienced with dbt; build and validate data models.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication; exec and technical conversations.
• Willing to work onsite in NYC on a lean, fast-moving team.
• Heavy use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor) as a multiplier.
