Forward Deployed Geospatial Engineer - SAR Intelligence, Portugal

📋 Description

• Train and support intelligence analysts using SAR imagery for tactical missions.
• Configure and optimize ICEYE ISR Suite for customer use cases and outputs.
• QA/validate SAR imagery products to meet operational requirements.
• Develop Python geospatial automation (GDAL, Rasterio, NumPy) for customer needs.
• Integrate ICEYE SAR data into customer COP environments (ArcGIS, QGIS).
• Implement automated detection/alerting for priority intelligence requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) or equivalent in Remote Sensing or GIS.
• Understanding SAR physics: polarimetry, interferometry, imaging modes.
• Strong Python skills for geospatial processing (GDAL, Rasterio, NumPy, GeoPandas).
• Hands-on experience analyzing satellite imagery for intelligence or operational use.
• Ability to translate complex concepts for non technical stakeholders.
• Excellent English communication (written & spoken) with ability to train.
• Willingness to travel 30-50% to customer sites.
