📋 Description

• Act as the pioneering technical voice for Tailscale in APAC; define regional execution.
• Partner with AEs to qualify, design, and close regional opportunities.
• Lead discovery workshops, demos, and manage tech POCs to shorten cycles.
• Engage in R&D: write code, build integrations, and contribute fixes.
• Document field insights and regional product requirements to guide product/GTM.
• Build reusable demos, blueprints, whitepapers, and docs for the SE org.

🎯 Requirements

• 4-5+ years in customer-facing SE/solutions roles for networking/cloud software.
• Proven success as founding regional hire or in an early-stage startup.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls.
• Zero-trust networking, secure connectivity, and IAM (SSO, SAML, OIDC).
• Hands-on with cloud infra (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Technical storytelling linking architecture to customer outcomes.
• Excellent collaboration across distributed engineering and sales teams.
