Founding Engineer, Backend & Infra

📋 Description

• Build and scale distributed backend systems for chart/claims data and workflows
• Create orchestration for long-running workflows across EHRs, PMs, clearinghouses, and payers
• Develop browser-use systems to navigate medical software and payer portals
• Design reliable systems for messy healthcare data (charts, PDFs, notes, attachments)
• Build observability, retries, audits, and human-in-the-loop for critical workflows
• Collaborate with product and research engineers to productionize clinical intelligence patterns

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production systems end-to-end
• Generalist across backend, data, and ML with real LLM experience in production
• Comfort with distributed systems, microservices, queues, workflow engines, data pipelines
• Healthcare experience helpful but not required; curiosity and rigor matter
