Founding Technical Recruiter

📋 Description

• Run full-cycle technical recruiting for engineering/data roles (priority: data platform)
• Own sourcing, screening, scheduling, offers, and closing with no coordination layer
• Build a live map of Toronto engineers to warm searches
• Run outbound messaging reflecting Terminal's bar
• Build the hiring operating system and metric dashboards
• Calibrate the technical bar with CTO/CEO and close senior talent

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in-house recruiting at an early-stage startup
• 2+ years owning full-cycle recruiting
• Closed senior and staff engineers in competitive markets with equity
• Able to source technically; read profiles to judge depth
• Strong funnel metrics and forecasting abilities
• Comfortable working with CEO/CTO and no coordination team; strong writing; AI in workflow
