Freelance Mechanical CFD Engineer - AI Trainer

📋 Description

• Setup and run CFD simulations using CAD geometries and appropriate simulation methodologies
• Prepare simulation models, define boundary conditions, and perform meshing
• Develop accurate, verified reference solutions to evaluate AI agents
• Review and assess AI-generated engineering solutions for technical correctness and reliability
• Conduct mesh-independence studies and validate simulations against benchmarks
• Develop Python scripts and automated checks to evaluate AI-generated results

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline (PhD preferred)
• Several years of hands-on CFD experience in industrial or research environment
• Proficiency with CDF tools: OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent, ANSYS CFX, or STAR-CCM+
• Strong understanding of fluid mechanics and numerical simulation methods
• Experience with verification and validation practices
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
