Full Stack Engineer (Elixir Backend Focus)

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate Elixir services using Phoenix, Ecto, and OTP, including APIs, workers
• Develop and evolve partner-facing REST APIs, including API versioning, outbound webhooks, and
• Build and maintain money-adjacent systems where accuracy is essential, including double-entry
• Own frontend features from end to end using React and TypeScript, covering administrative
• Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code regularly to accelerate development, while carefully
• Conduct meaningful code reviews and provide an additional layer of scrutiny for system design

🎯 Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience, including 4 or more years focused
• At least 3 years of production experience with Elixir, Phoenix, Ecto, and OTP, including shipping
• Daily use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent, with the ability to
• Strong PostgreSQL expertise, including practical SQL, transaction semantics, and performance
• Solid experience designing REST APIs and implementing background job processing with retries, using
• Demonstrated experience in loyalty platforms, travel technology, payments, or FinTech.
