Full Stack Engineer III

📋 Description

• Building and improving systems that detect and stop abuse across sign-up, booking, and messaging
• Improving reliability, deliverability, and compliance of email and SMS notifications.
• Shipping new detection carefully, measuring performance on real traffic and weighing false
• Responding to active abuse, including on-call, by stopping damage fast and replacing quick fixes
• Building tools for Trust & Safety Operations to review accounts faster and understand system
• Partnering with Product, Operations, and Data to define requirements and measure impact.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years professional software development experience at SaaS or technology company, building and
• Strong backend skills: building services, APIs, and data-heavy workflows in service-oriented
• Experience with Rails, Node/TypeScript, Go, or comparable language/framework, willingness to work
• Comfort with relational databases and SQL, and using data to check change effectiveness.
• Analytical, curious mindset: think about system misuse.
• Good judgment about trade-offs (stopping bad actors without adding friction).
