Fundable - Backend Engineer (TypeScript/Node.js or Python)

📋 Description

• Build the backend powering Fundable’s API, AI services, MCP, and workflow.
• Own core data products from architecture through production.
• Build new customer-facing APIs and a native workflow builder.
• Work directly with founders to own end-to-end product implementation.
• High autonomy role with architectural decision-making.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong backend engineering experience building production systems.
• Strong TS/Node.js or Python skills, plus SQL and Postgres.
• API design, data models, and distributed jobs with authentication, idempotency, retries.
• Knowledge of AI tooling (Claude, Codex) for modular systems.
• Experience with LLM-backed systems, agentic frameworks, RAG, and deterministic validation.
• Deployed production systems using cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
