Fusion Island Group Leader (f/m/d)

📋 Description

• End-to-end accountability for the fusion island design.
• Technical Leadership & Design Authority.
• Define and govern overall systems design architecture and safety approach.
• Lead critical design reviews, independent assessments, and design verification.
• Resolve complex cross-cutting technical issues.
• Approve key engineering deliverables: design basis docs and ICDs.

🎯 Requirements

• Engineering degree; MSc/PhD in nuclear engineering preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience.
• Minimum 5 years leading multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Deep knowledge of nuclear plant systems, safety analysis, and design basis.
• Deep knowledge of reactor physics; fusion is a plus.
• RAMI, licensing, documentation and scheduling experience.
