Gas Turbine Performance Engineer

📋 Description

• Conduct steady-state and transient performance analysis of gas turbine engines
• Develop, execute, and interpret thermodynamic models for design and transient conditions
• Prepare and present technical outputs, progress updates, risks, assumptions, and recommendations
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, test, and customer teams to meet targets
• Support cycle design, optimisation studies, engine ratings, and performance assessments
• Analyse engine operability including compressor stability and throttle response

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in gas turbine engine performance analysis and modelling
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics and propulsion system performance
• Proficiency in Python for engineering and data analysis
• Experience with data validation, analysis, visualisation, and performance reporting
• Knowledge of steady-state engine modelling and power management
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate technical findings effectively
