Gateway Automation Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain API-gateway automation components for government-approved CI/CD pipelines.
• Create and validate configuration-as-code and deployment artifacts.
• Support automated checks for API specs, governance, Zero Trust, and telemetry.
• Build automation evidence for onboarding reduction and Zero Trust compliance.
• Troubleshoot gateway CI/CD integration issues and validation gates.
• Coordinate with gov teams on dependencies; produce runbooks.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in automation engineering, gateway engineering, or DevOps-adjacent roles.
• 2+ years integrating components with CI/CD pipelines.
• Git, YAML/JSON, scripting, and configuration-as-code.
• Experience with API gateways, API management platforms, middleware, or microservices.
• Familiarity with pipeline-integrated validation, automated deployment checks, security gates, and telemetry.
• Experience in enterprise-controlled CI/CD environments where another team owns the toolchain.
