📋 Description

• Own commercial contracts and negotiation with customers and suppliers.
• Lead and shape the Legal function, building the operating model and team.
• Develop global legal talent across geographies while staying business-aligned.
• Maintain strong governance and pragmatic risk management in a global SaaS setting.
• Prepare investor/event readiness with contracts and governance for due diligence.
• Collaborate with Francisco Partners and portfolio GC leadership.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven GC with strong commercial instincts in PE-backed SaaS.
• Qualified lawyer with practising rights (Solicitor/Barrister, JD, or equivalent).
• Track record negotiating SaaS customer and supplier contracts with commercial judgment.
• Experience in PE-backed or fast-paced environments; understands investor expectations and governance.
• Proven people leadership; builds high-performing legal teams and governance playbooks.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and identify quick wins in risk and contracting.
• Hands-on with contracts, risk positions, and policy frameworks.
• Data privacy and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions (GDPR, CCPA).
• Experience with global employment/HR matters and multi-jurisdiction workforce structures.
• IP protection/management; litigation oversight; due diligence; data room readiness; explore legal tech/AI.
