General Counsel

📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted legal advisor to executive leadership, providing strategic counsel on business
• Lead legal oversight of commercial transactions, including the drafting, review, negotiation, and
• Direct the company's legal strategy for litigation, disputes, claims, investigations, and
• Partner with Human Resources and executive leadership on complex employment matters, workforce
• Provide legal oversight and guidance on corporate governance matters, including Board of Directors
• Lead enterprise risk management by identifying, evaluating, and mitigating significant legal risks

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with at least one state bar (eligibility for admission in South
• 5+ years of legal experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or combination thereof
• Strong professional legal network with the ability to easily tap into external counsel, industry
• Proven experience supporting executive leadership and advising business stakeholders.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced corporate environment with strong cross-functional collaboration
