General Supervisor

📋 Description

• Lead daily CLIA lab supervision and operations
• Manage CLS and lab staff (licensed and unlicensed)
• Oversee scheduling, troubleshooting, and day-to-day work
• Drive process improvements: QC, tech transfer, training
• Facilitate cross-department communication and collaboration
• Participate in recruiting and team development

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemical/physical/biological sciences
• Current or prior supervision of lab staff
• 4-5 years CLS experience in clinical/molecular high-complexity lab
• California CLS license meeting CLIA (ASCP/CGMBS or generalist)
• Hands-on DNA extraction, PCR, and automated liquid handlers
• Proficiency with Google Docs/Excel; basic statistics; familiarity with LIMS and NGS
