Generator Technician

📋 Description

• Perform daily inspections and comprehensive preventive maintenance on all facility generators, fuel
• Manage fuel deliveries, vendor coordination, and continual training to onsite staff.
• Creating and maintaining MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs.
• Conduct monthly test runs, perform daily monitoring of EPMS, fuel/oil system, batteries, and
• Supervise annual load banking performed by the service provider.
• Assist with the physical integration, configuration, and testing of backup generators alongside

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with generator maintenance and troubleshooting, preferably in
• Solid understanding of diesel-powered generators and associated equipment (experience with Rolls
• Ability to read and accurately interpret technical manuals, electrical schematics, and mechanical
• Familiarity with the operational layout of data center infrastructure, including basic power
• Ability to remain calm and methodical under pressure while diagnosing faults during critical system
• Must be able to lift 40+ pounds, climb ladders, and work comfortably in tight spaces, generator
